Location. The Hotel Diamante Suites is located in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, within 300 metres of Playa Jardin beach and the Guaguas bus station, and 40 kilometres from Teide Volcano.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Diamante Suites is housed within five white buildings, with views over Mount Teide and the sea. The complex includes two freshwater swimming pools: one for children, and one with a hydrojet tub, and a gym with sauna. A wireless Internet area, mini- market and hair salon offering a range of massage treatments, are all on site.
The Hotel Diamante's a la carte restaurant, El Rincón, is the most formal eating option. The Tomás Iriarte buffet serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with show cooking and a wide dessert menu. A Canadian buffet is offered weekly. Snacks are served at La Ranilla pool bar, next to the barbecue restaurant on the terrace. The lobby bar, Tauro, provides live music and other evening entertainment. A complimentary buffet breakfast is available. The all-inclusive rate incorporates breakfast, lunch, dinner, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with meals, and drinks from the bar between 11 a.m and 11 p.m. The half-board rate includes breakfast and lunch.
Within the hotel grounds are a tennis court, squash court, and putting green. There is an onsite playground. Nearby, water sports include scuba-diving, surfing, water- skiing, fishing, and whale-watching.
Guestrooms. All 175 suites are decorated in rustic style, with separate sitting areas and balconies. Amenities include climate control, satellite television, minibars, and safes. Bathrooms include hair dryers, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. The hotel offers all-inclusive and half-board rates.
Expert Tip. Loro Park is a man-made, tropical park, featuring the world's largest collection of parrots, an aquarium with a shark tunnel, killer whales, sea lions, dolphins, penguins, gorillas, chimpanzees, jaguars, tigers, and alligators.
