Location. The Sheraton Mencey Hotel is located in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, in a residential area opposite García Sanabria Park, two kilometres from Santa Cruz harbour. Tenerife North Airport (TFN) is 10 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in subtropical gardens, the Sheraton Mencey Hotel is a stately colonial-style building decorated in the style of a Canarian country house. The heated outdoor pool, poolside bar, and tennis court are shaded by tall palm trees, and the hotel also has a reading room, business centre, and a casino. Further amenities include high-speed Internet access for a surcharge, a concierge desk, and 24-hour room service.
The hotel restaurant, Los Menceyes, serves regional and international dishes in a semi-formal setting. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered each morning. Drinks, snacks, and light meals are also available from the poolside bar, and from the wood-panelled Ibala Bar.
Guestrooms. There are 286 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over five floors, all with high ceilings, marble floors, and antique-style furniture.
