Here you will also find the oldest and largest pine tree "El Pino Gordo". This opportunity gives us time to take a short photo break, and you may also enjoy a good tasting local coffee "El Barraquito".

The sunset experience was just beautiful! Ozzi was very knowledgeable and knew all the spots for the views! The little touch at Vilaflor was just lovely! Thanks again Ozzi!!
Highlight of our trip to Tenerife

Took the Sunset Tour last Friday, when by coincidence there was a full moon too. Filip, our driver and tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the area and what we were about to see but on Tenerife in general and we picked up useful tips for the rest of our stay on the island.

We were collected from and returned to our apartment in a comfortable and clean minivan, and Filip was attentive to everyone's well being and comfort. On the way up to Teide we stopped at Vilaflor, for a short cold drink break to acclimatise to the altitude and some of us tried the barraquito too! Mmmm.

Once in the National Park the views and scenery were magnificent, and Filip knew great places to safely stop to take photos. We stopped for half an hour or so at the Parador, to stretch our legs and admire the rock formations and the peak before setting off again to various vantage points to catch the sun as it went down and threw its last rays over the stunning landscape. Our final stop, to see the actual sunset was made memorable with a glass of cava!

All in all a great trip out that we thoroughly recommend, if you want to see Teide but aren't a great distance walker. Don't forget to take a jacket though (but Filip had blankets if you forget) as it's quite a bit cooler at altitude when the sun goes down!

Should we return to Tenerife, we would definitely do another Comfort Tours Tenerife trip, hopefully with Filip as our guide.
5 stats ?!!?

What a super trip - the guide was really knowledgeable and friendly - the food and wine was great and the stars - well - they certainly delivered tonight - the astronomer was brilliant too
Great day at Teide with Filip

We did a sunset Teide tour with Filip. There was a problem with the van, and instead of cancelling we were picked up in his personal car and given a private tour. Filip was very flexible at each stop, giving us space to explore and choose what we wanted to do and took a few nice pictures of us. He is also super knowledgeable about the area and national park. We felt really lucky to have had the day we did so thanks to Filip and comfort tours for going above and beyond to make it happen
A very unique experience!

This trip was a very special experience! It started at the great service of being picked up by our hotel and driving into the national park of El Teide. We stopped at several places and because of the seize of the bus, we we’re able to take really touristic routes and to stop in places where bigger touringcars can’t. The sight of El Teide was breathtaking and the landscape around it was mesmerising.

The tour guide really knows a lot about the vicinity and the geology of the surrounding area.

We finished our tour at the top of a little volcano, looking at the beautiful sunset while drinking a glass of champagne. Simply wonderful!

Would recommend this to anyone visiting Tenerife.
